The Artesia Model House Plan
Front PerspectiveSpanish revival architecture continues to be one of America's favored styles. It evolved from colonial settlers who built beautiful missions along the The Alemeda, a missionary route on the west coast being settled by Spanish explorers. Those buildings can be found near the California coastline and reach from the San Diego area and extend to just north of San Francisco.
This style has laid the basis for almost all modern development in California. The Spanish revival identity dates from the early 20th century where the contemporary version of this architecture stems. It's stucco exteriors and clay tile roofs are well suited to dry temperate climates where it is so popular. |
Rear PerspectiveThe design of this house orients itself on a private rear yard making it suitable for those who wish to have a swimming pool. A wooden trellis is designed to give filtered shade and play with the natural light that caresses the exterior walls of the rear elevation.
The L-shaped plan creates a natural location for outdoor rooms. French doors lead from both the Master Bedroom and Kitchen to the beautiful garden area. |
