Historical California Home Styles
The photos below are snapshots of a handful of California homes which exhibit a distinctive and well known style or fashion of architecture. Each house shows a clear expression of its style and the periods of architecture represented are common throughout the state. All of these houses are at least 50 years old and are all still privately inhabited. The identity of the architect is included on ones that are known.
